Happy New Year!

I was really over the moon that I get to spend New Year Day in Narita. Well, not excatly, I was on the aircraft working really. I arrived in Narita on the 2nd day of 2012.

It was a very short stay, about a day and a half there. It was minimum rest and maximum fun! The only time I was in the hotel was to sleep. Just some photos of the goodies I brought back home.

I will make them last as long as possible. Maybe a sachet once every 2 weeks? LOL. And I just realized that I got the same Oreo latte as Jenny!

I can get them here in Singapore too but it is slightly cheaper over in Japan. My first copy of JILLE. It will not be my last. There are loads and loads of street snaps in there!

Of course a trip to Japan is not complete without a visit to Matsumoto Kiyoshi. This time round I was really disciplined and got only these.

Because the previous time in Sapporo, I got these. Opps.

Amsterdam has got to be my favorite Europe city. It has a different vibe and pace. There is just something to it that I cannot put a finger on. Although I have been to several cities in Europe, but I am usually only there for a couple of days. Not enough to say I have seen all of the cities.

We visited Tokyo at the wrong time. There was typhoon warnings and it never stopped raining. Damn. Although we did enjoyed the trip, but I believe we would have visited more places if it wasn't for the rain. The weather was also cooler than we thought. Somehow, when the weather forecast predicted 24degree C, it just doesn't feel like it! I think it is just Tokyo. The last time when I was there for a flight, I under packed as well.

So, this is just a post on the outfits I wore for the trip.

Finally, the typhoon left and the sky was clear and blue. But sadly, it was our last day as well.

I am in the midst of annual leave and basically I am doing notthing much, just enjoying the day to day stuffs. Coming back to my own place, being in my own white, full of sunlight bedroom makes me feel.... relaxed. And makes me want to blog again! I know I used to blog more often, on random purchases, thoughts, anything. But when I'm staying at the bf's place, I just don't have the mood to blog.

One reason I feel it's because I dont have a place/spot where I can take photos nor do I have bright, sunny light flowing through the window. I mean light is everything to achieve nice photos! At least to me it is.

I hope I can come back more often.

Plan to cook something for the bf and me during this leave period.

You know I can never stop buying lingerie and panties. I just got 5 from Victoria Secrets on my trip to SFO and here I am buying these.

Got a boardshorts since I forsee a diving trip coming up. Plus, I have been going to Wavehouse in Sentosa.

Got this at 80% off in San Francisco. It was the last one. What a good buy!

I've got some items that I'm thinking of selling but since I haven't been blogging much on cosmetics, I'm not sure if anyone would know about it. Should I?

I have been away for a 7 days pattern flight and boy do I miss home. Things did not go well on the flight, traveling document was left in the hotel and I only realise it after I traveled 13hours away from it. Came back home ysterday, only to know my father lost my dog. Not having slept a wink from 0400, I rushed down to go search for him. Thank god, my father's tenant and I managed to find him.

Marie Fashion Junk Food & VOGUE Girl iPhone App

A few months ago, I found these 2 fashion related app in the App Store.

The first one is VOGUE Girl No. 1 for English by Conde Nast Publications Japan. Here is the link.

I was searching under Angelababy when I chanced upon this app. Angelababy is on the cover. It includes a section on VOGUE Girl muses Rina Ota, Angelababy and Hana Matsushima's styles. They also include links to the online store should you fall in love with any of the items in their co-ordinates pages!

I am quite positive this app is in fact the whole issue of VOGUE Girl. It has been months and I am still not quite finished with it. It is not mention if it will be constantly updated with new issues. But being a free app for downloading, this is one app that is totally worth it. With so much content, I would not mind paying for it either.

I cannot believe I took sooo long to finish blogging on a work trip of Toyko. This shows how often I blog nowadays!

Got these from Matsumoto Kiyoshi. Those DHC vitamins are insanely cheaper than Singapore! I think it costs S$25-35 for a 60 days dosage pack. But it only cost me S$6 in Japan.

The top of my to buy list!

Cute character goods! The most costly one was the Suzy Zoo pouch. Got the handkerchiefs and Hello Kitty from the 100 yen store, which is really Diaso.

Charms from SBY! I think the one with the big bow might be too cute for me.

Bath salts from Loft! After being highly recommended by Jenny that Loft is one of the best place to get them.

How can I not get myself more makeup.

Got these socks from Harajuku.

Aside from all the beverages I hauled back, here are some of the snacks. Oh, the Sun chips are from LA though.

I always end up getting a shock when I check out of their supermarket.

Matsumoto Kiyoshi is one of Japan's most popular pharmacy. It is HUGE. This is the only photo I took of in the store. They carry all the big brands like Shiseido, Kose, Kanebo and their sub brands.

Sights of Japan - Food Post

My traveling dream finally came true. I got rostered for a flight to Japan! It was a short stay. Less than a day in Narita. And arrived late in the evening at Tokyo, had only one full day, and checked out the next day evening. I tried to hit as many places as possible. I will do a post on FOOD today.

Grab dinner at Aeon Mall after arriving in hotel in Narita. Tempura!

Desserts and snacks from the Supermarket. I love their local Supermarket. I can spend hours there. Grab these in 15 mins flat.

Quick lunch bento from the combini just outside the hotel before heading to Los Angeles. Even food from convenience store taste so good!

Even the drinks that they are selling interest me.

So I hauled all these back. Hand carry.

Lunch at Shinjuku. I wanted a soup base ramen but got a dry one instead. After mixing the sauces, it is pretty good.

Everything will taste absolute yum in Japan, I do not think I will ever find food that is not tasty. Except probably raw octopus of sorts which I do not know how to appreciate. Of everything I had, I think Denny's was the only one that failed to impress. Denny's dessert however was nice.

I have been trying to find time to get a new layout for my blog. I would prefer more of a photo blog (so I do not need to talk so much xD). Finally I have a 2 days off from my Auckland flight and am not feeling so lazy, done the laundry, unpack the bags, do not need to go home as my parents are in JB! Also figured out how to post large images on Blogger!

Here are some new stuffs that is keeping me happy currently.

The Body Shop had a sale going on the other day. Travel size toiletries are essential!

My first Chanel lippie! From their new collection. Liberte is a warm orangey shade.

The bestie got me a Dior gloss as a belated birthday gift.

I have been using this liquid foundation for the past 3 months, in Singapore and in countries with colder climate. It is very light weight with sheer coverage. Comparing it to the various BB creams that I use during my off work days, it is not as hydrating.

That's all for now! I'm still figuring out on the header image. Not loving the current look. Oh well... tee hee!

Continuing from the previous post, here are sights of Sans Francisco!

Lets begin with the hotel! Isn't the pillow cute?
Went to a Vietnamese Eatery for lunch. Spicy Beef Pho. Actually I'm kind of regretting why didn't I had some hotdogs or pizza from the street vendor.
Vietnamese Drip Coffee. It was good! Very strong. Just the way I like it.
Calpico! In Lychee flavor! We don't have this flavor in Singapore. We only carry the original.
I love all the buildings in Frisco.
Didn't get to visit Barneys nor Macys. Maybe next time.
Serena, or anyone living in Sans Francisco, is this restaurant good? I love all the signboards!

I'm back from Korea and Sans Francisco! Let me share some sights of Seoul.

In Olive & Young. It is like SaSa in Singapore or Hong Kong. I am really proud of myself that I managed to leave the store without any of these Hello Kitty products!

On the left is Red Appletox Honey Cream. On the right is their star product, Tomato Brightening and Whitening Mask. When the SA tried it on me, it really brighten up the skin!How can I leave Korea without their famous BB cream. One from Etude House.

And one from Skinfood. I'm currently loving Skin79. But in Korea, it cost almost the same as Singapore.

Samples! They give you free samples when you step into their stores.

Universal Studio Singapore

YEAP!! Went to Universal Studio last Wednesday! Going on a weekday is definitely more worthwhile. Less crowd, short queue for photo taking and rides and less people walking into your photos! Overall, it was really fun!

Did not edit the colors of this photo because I want to show you the dark clouds looming in the sky. Yup, it poured for a while. But it did not dampen my mood!

This was in the Jurassic Park themed food court. You will missed it if you don't go in. We went in to get some air con.

My first store purchase of Victoria's Secret

All these times, I do own a few items from Victoria's Secret. I got them either online or from friends when they visited the States. The only Victoria Secrets Store we have in Singapore is in Resort World Sentosa.

I do love Victoria's Secret but only the PINK collection in particular catches my attention most of the time. I think it has got to do with how the photos are shot and the models. Yes, I prefer Cutesy to Sexy. But maybe it is also because I don't have the body to do Sexy. HAHAHA. And Sexy sometimes just feels old.... no?

Thanks to Jenny's constant VS posts, I got myself some... or some more.

I had planned to get some of the body lotion but there are way too many scents to choose from and I gave up after a while when my nose starts to hurt. So I got a miniature Bombshell! Great for tolling around in my handbag or when I work. I had wanted to get the lotion but it was OOS.

Luggage tag for my cargo bag! For the first time, Larry actually chooses a leopard print item for me! Remember I said before how he hates leopard print?

And a key ring!

I didn't specially make a trip to Resort World for VS. We went to Universal Studios! I will do a post on it soon! Before my leave is over!

Happy Lunar New Year! I finally found some time to blog. Just a short post and photos from New Delhi. Didn't get to do much, grab lunch and headed back to the hotel to rest.

The interior of the restaurant is very 'India'. Looks like those restaurants you see on travel program.

The food is soooo good!

And cheap. We only paid around SGD10 each for 2 servings of Garlic Nann, Butter Chicken and Briyani. 1 order of Chicken Fry, Tandoor Chicken with Cheese and Cream. I think there were some other dishes.
They were roaming around the streets. When I moved closer to get a closer shot, they ran away.

Awww..... aren't they cute? As with every destination I go, pictures of stray dogs.

Happy New Year everyone!

2010 was a pretty good year for me. I think it was the best year in my life so far. A few big things was accomplished and achieved. Things that make me feel like I am really an adult now. Buying an apartment with my SO has got to be the major highlight of the year. Haha!

The year did not went on a good start with my parents' accident. But it is sort of like a blessing in disguise? Relationships were improved.
The 4th quarter of the year, I got a pay rise. And of course, I got my dream job. Though it has been almost 2 months into my dream job, I still cannot believe that this is actually happening. I want this feeling to last as long as possible. So I will always be grateful and treasure this opportunity that I was given and in turn I will perform my best at work everyday and stay positive.

How was everyone's Christmas? Mine was ok, no big celebration. I just stayed home with Larry cooked and studied!
Btw, all the Christmas food photos are taken with my new camera from Larry!! It's the Olympus Pen EPL1! I'm loving it! We went to the year end IT fair to get it but the color that I wanted was sold out. So Larry went back to the fair the next day before work. I was so touched!!

There was a little celebration at Larry's on Eve of Christmas.

A big fat turkey! Larry's dad was very nice to asked me to bring half of it to my batch mates Christmas party.

It's 0113! And I've got a long day tomorrow, we have an evacuation drill and swimming! Zzz. I haven't been sleeping much these few days. Off to bed!

Weight Talk

There was a weight check today and *drum rolls* I GAINED WEIGHT!!
I am very pleased indeed.
I haven't gain any weight for around 10 years or more, and I know I am too skinny so imagine my joy when I found out I had put on so weight.

The last time there was a change in my weight was when I was 17 or 18, I can't really remember. That was a weight loss of around 3-5kg. Ever since then, I haven't gain any weight.

I'm actually quite worried about talking weight here but whatever makes me happy yeah? Ha.

Well.... maybe I should talk a bit about my lifestyle or eating habits?
I don't control what I eat or how often I eat or snack. Sometimes even when I am feeling full, I still can't help but snack a little. The only thing that I sometimes control is the time of my last snack or meal. I try not to eat anything too heavy after 8-9pm. But this is sometimes impossible especially in my previous job or when I was working those non office hours jobs, like when I was working as a part time waitress or sales assistant during school days.

I'm feeling hungry already! So I'm off to snacky snack and head to bed. Today is a super information overload day! My brain needs to zzz.

I know it has been ages since I last blog, I do apologise! Life have been a whirlwind these few months. In a good way!

Let me give you some updates.

Let me warn you first that, this post is BORING. I am just going on and on about my life now and there are only images of nothing but MY FACE.

The biggest change that has happened is that I have left my previous job. I really do like what I was there, pay was not too bad, boss acknowledges our hard work, colleagues were fantastic, hours are flexible. I did have to burn several weekends there.

Remember I said something about achieving something I really want in life on an earlier post? Yup, I am talking about my dream job! I am not sure how many of you would like to know what my dream job is...... but I will share nevertheless.

Cabin Crew. There. I've said it.

So I am now with Singapore Airlines, my national carrier. They have a very strict policy on blogging and even posting of photographs. So I will not talk too much about that.

I am still undergoing training at the moment. Office hours, Monday to Friday. My 'classmates' (they call it batch mate actually) are really fun people, they make me look forward to class everyday! The only thing that put me off about going for training is the SUPER STRICT rules and regulations they have. We are sort of like a uniform group anyway, so with any uniform jobs or careers, you are representing the company and we have to protect the company's image, so I do understand.

So with these strict rules, most of the office wear in my wardrobe is not appropriate for classes. To begin with I do not have much office wear! All my previous jobs do not require me to dress office wear really, only occasionally when we had to meet clients. I also had to get my hair cut and dyed.

This is how I have to look everyday from Monday to Friday.

The Chili red lip color is a must.

I actually quite like the blue eyeshadow There are some girls who just hates it.

I really rather not part my bangs but we have to show our brows.

There, so much better on days off!

Self-help book review + some Anna Sui love

As some of you might have known, I bought a book a few weekends back. So after reading about halfway into the book, I thought I will talk a little about it.
Serena! This is for you!

This is actually my first self-help book. I usually don't read non-fiction book. They just seems so boring. But there has got to be some reason why people pick up self-help books right? Or why they are called self-help books right? So yeah, a month or so back, I was feeling....bothered and unhappy and all. So I met up a gf and went to pick up one.

This is a book on basically being a happier person. Or how to become happier than you already am now.

I do occasionally browse self-help books but like mentioned earlier they are so ZZZ, but this book is not! Well.... there is no humor nor funny examples. But it is backed by numerous groundbreaking research studies. This is how this book is different and is able to capture my attention and not let me get distracted when reading. All the various methodologies mentioned have research studies to prove their points and results, so you will know that it will work.

Since my current job is in market research field, I can really relate to the book. You know everyone can say how counting your blessings can make you happier or make you appreciate what ever you have now more, but you never know whether if it really works. So this book shows various research studies to prove how this method really works. Then you won't feel so skeptical about the truth behind it because figures and results never lies.

Another thing I like about the book is that there are activities for you to do! Below are some outtakes from the book.

Overall, it is an interesting read and I must say it has help me in becoming happier over these few weeks.

Look at all this Anna Sui love!! They are love from the bro's girlfriend! She gave me all these goodies, even before I had met her.

Yesterday I had a really therapeutic meet up with a gf. Here we are at Coffee Club Express for lunch. Everything was yummy!

We then head to Kino to look at some books and magazines.

We were at the Philosophy and Psychology section and my gf had this idea to take photos against the sign. ** My frowning face depicts that I could not find a book that I like.

Our Second Musical - Voyage de la Vie

Last weekend, the bffs gave me a pair of tickets for a musical! This was the second musical I watched with the bf. The first was Cats! But unlike Cats which is purely a theatrical musical, Voyage de la Vie comprises of breathtaking circus acts, contortion, trapeze, juggling and last but not least magic. It really kept me at the edge of my seat.

Photography was not allowed. But I sneakily took some shots. The moon looks so enchanting. This was the beginning of a Trapeze-Contortion act by Aurelia Cats. She is a beauty! Her act was one of my favorite!

Sorry! There were more acts but I was too engrossed in the show and did not took any more.
The show coming to an end.

We walked around a bit after the show, but all the stores were closed already. We will head back again one day!

One of the 24hours eatery in Universal Studio Singapore. Everything was good except that dumpling soup! Blehh.

On a side note, I used to complain to the bf that he doesn't take photos of me. But now that he got his iphone. He have been sneakily snapping photos of me when I am eating! Only when I am eating! How annoying. I am really such a pain, I complained that he don't take, now that he is taking, I'm complaining too.

FOTD + Picnic + Yummy Taiwan Drinks

I have been taking pics but I just haven't had the time to post them or categorized them in a post. Or it could be the pics are too little to make up into an interesting post. Thus resulting into this unorganized and photo dump post, with no theme or what so ever.

The bf planned a surprise picnic date on a workday several months back. This was our 2nd picnic together.

Picnics are actually very costly. This cost him S$50+. Does planning a picnic cost you a lot in the western countries? For S$50, we can dine in a restaurant with drinks and starters.

In case you are wondering how we melted the cheese. It just got heated by the bike. how convenient right?

I was going through the photos, and realized I do turn fair quite quickly. This was taken less than a week after I got back from Bali. Now, I am only slightly darker than before I went to Bali. I think my canmake orange cream blush goes better with darker complexion.

Now! This! I bought these yesterday at a Taiwan food fare. I love Hazelnut! I love them in Latte and milk tea! Now I can try Hazelnut with Chocolate....

and Almond! They are suppose to be some healthy drinks, with 6 different types of natural and healthy ingredients. I used to hate the taste of Almond. But I am slowly loving them. They are said to be good for whitening. And if an expecting mummy drinks a lot of almond, the baby will be born with very fair skin.

The green colored sachet is Green Tea Latte! I exchanges that with a few sachets of the Hazelnut Chocolate with the bff. I wanted to get all 3! But they are actually quite expensive!

I am going to make a cup now! Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend.
Today is the bff's birthday! I know you like the pressie I got you. Haha!

Some NYX

Hello all! I bought these NYX goodies a while back but haven't gotten around to post them. These are my first time buying NYX products. I got them from a local online seller. You probably can find all the swatches of their products everywhere online.

I got 3 products. NYX Round lipgloss, Concealer Wand and NYX Round Lipstick.

Round Lipstick in Orange Soda.

They are really really creamy and goes on so easily. Too easily for my preference, hence may result in uneven application. Orange Soda is pretty nude.

NYX Round Lipgloss in Natural.

I am not a fan of the scent. But other than that, I am loving their gloss! Natural is a very safe and wearable brown.

I got the Concealer Wand in Green to cover the redness on my face. Especially around the nose. But I am not liking the consistency. It looks creamy but when it goes on to the face, it seems a bit dry. Maybe it has got to do with my dry skin.

Bali purchases + Skincare

It has been a while since I blog. Sorry that I have been MIA. Work is just taxing!
Thought I will do a quick 'Purchase' post!

Remember I was deciding between Hada Labo or Aqua Label in a previous post? I got Aqualabel! Actually, I got both. Sort of. The bf was out of his Laneige Homme moisturiser, so I talked him into buying Hada Labo! Hahaha. How scheming am I? So I got to try both of the moisturiser. Their consistency feels the same. Light and milky.

Lotion wise, I only tried Hada Labo. Did not get the lotion from Aqualabel. Got from KOSE instead! Also got the eye gel from the Hydrating range.

I haven't showed you guys what I got from Bali. There are a few huge surf outlet stores in Bali. The bf had a field day. I got a top from Insight and a Roxy bikini.

Shawls! or scarfs? I have no idea what are they call. They were so cheap! Not without bargaining of course. I am loving the leopard and zebra print ones. They are so comfy and light to carry around with me.

This is one of the pricey purchases. I am kind of regretting the colors though.

It sparkles in the sunlight! But I did not capture it very well here.

Slowest weekend ever

Today is such a slow and boring day. I was all dressed up to go walk around town abit and maybe grab some magazines and shop for some footwear with the bf. But none of this happen because he got home after coaching, and was so ill. He was running a high fever and feeling all sore and achy. He already had fever a week back but recovered. Guess it hadn't totally gone away.

I must admit I am not the most motherly girl. I do not have this motherly nature in me. I cannot take care of anyone. Even if when I am ill, I do not need to be taken care of. I just think that the person taking care of me will be so bored! Plus constantly looking at my sick and half dead face. I can take care of a sick dog or animal because they won't look sick. I have this mentality that looking at my sick face will somehow suck all the energy and drive from the person taking care of me.

And I have to work next weekend. Sucks.

I have been meaning to post these photos of my brunch session with a gf.

I love the idea of brunch and high teas on weekends. Those cakes, pastries, scones, sandwiches, waffles..... accompanied with teas and coffee. Aaahhhh.... what a luxurious treat. But sadly, I haven't had the chance to go for them often. It is either I just cannot get out of bed early enough or when I can wake up early, nobody wants to go with me!

Saddest of all, I haven't had high tea with the bf before!! Sometimes I do feel that high tea or brunch is a bit girly for guys. Sipping tea from tea cups or taking a scones from the 3 tiered cake stand. Haha.

The gf recommends The Marmalade Pantry.

I tried something new for my eyemake. Not sure if you can tell from the photo. I used a green eyeliner to line my bottom lash line. Got the inspiration from one of the recent issue of Teen Vogue.

Oh Bali II

This week has been such a long week! There is a big project going on and I have to spend the weekends at the office. So, I basically work seven days straight. No, tomorrow is Monday and I still need to turn up for work, so, fourteen! And it is extra tiring because I am not just sitting on my desk typing away. There is so much logistics going on, we have to set up the office so respondents could come in for their session and then bring down everything again today, then set it up again in 2 weeks time, then bring down and set up, bring down and set up over 10 weeks. OMG. Just thinking about it now is making me feel so exhausted.

Just now, I was so drained that I did not realized I patted on my toner and used a mask WITHOUT washing my face! There were times I used my body wash to washed my hair or the other way round. HAHAHA.

Sorry for all that crap, I just keep going on and on.
ok! Back to what this post is about. In my previous post I showed some scenes and sights of Bali, so this time round I thought I'll post some of my favorite pictures of me and the bf. How narcissistic is this right? HAHA.

This was when they went snorkeling and ocean rafting. I had diarrhea and felt so weak that I stayed alone in the hotel.

I seriously think that the SO have a better figure than me!

My first Revlon lippie. I wore this on my previous post.

The color pay off is really good.

Finally, my first BB cream. This is Skin 79 Gold Label BB cream. It contains Gold and Caviar extract, how exotic and rich, right? The Gold Label is meant for dry/combination skin and it goes on well on my dry skin.

The right side of my palm is with the BB cream.

I have been using it almost everyday now and am loving it.

I'm leaving for Bali tomorrow! Can't wait! I hope I don't get too dark after the 8 days there! See you guys soon!

Yes. You probably can second guess from the title, that I have shop too much this month. So, I must blog this post to remind myself to not shop next month! Which is probably impossible, whats more I am going away to Bali. Before even reaching the destination, I know I will be buying some beauty products from the duty free shops in the airport. I will make sure I won't buy more than 3 items in Bali!!

So without further ado, I present to you, my HAUL

From Mango. This was a dash and buy purchase! The store was so packed on Saturday, as it was their 2nd day of Sale. I went straight to the pants section, found this and pull them on under my dress and then to the check out! I was having second thoughts but my gf was convincing me to get it.

I visited the store 3 times before finally buying this pair of yellow heels! I wanted to get the brown one on the first visit. Then the yellow and purple caught my eye on the second visit. Finally decide on yellow on my third visit.

This, I got on the spot. It was only SGD20! All my sandals are going, so I wanted to get at least one to replace the 2 brown ones.

Erm, this is just my clothes and shoes hauls. I still have a beauty and magazine haul. OOooh nooo. The bf is spoiling me. =)

It's the raining season! Which means I get to start layering my outfits! The weather is usually too warm and humid to wear more than 1 layer. Yesterday's down pour resulted in floods in town area. There was a small flood around my office area too, rain water was up til my ankle level. I was in my slack attire with Birkenstock, and they got all soaked an stinky. EEw.

At Accessorizes. I want to buy everything in the store! I love their stuffs. But they are all so expensive.

We love this scarf! But it was SGD42. We battled so long as to if we should get it. Final decision. NO. For now. Haha. Can you see the blue polka dots on the scarf? I love it. It look so vintagey and cute!

Here was last Friday. I get to leave early from work! Had an impromptu meetup with my childhood friend.
We were shopping for a high end label bag for her. This was her favorite one. Some lambskin one from LV which cost $4xxx? The sales guy was telling her how exquisite and luxurious the leather is. That one bag uses at least 5 lambs' skin. I told him that 'If I were you, I probably won't use that as my sales pitch.'

Met the bf for dinner next. We've been wanting to try this restaurant. They had some dinner set promo going on! Queuing for our turn. Full house.

Serving was huge! I wasn't expecting such huge servings in promo sets. We were stuffed! We couldn't finish the main course in the end.

Friends or foes?

I don't even know how to begin. Work is stressful enough. And now, this.
Who will you call a friend? or even best friend? I think the bf and I are really suited for each other in this aspect. We are too good a friend to our friends and best friends. This may all sound childish you think. HA. What best friend?! You are well over your teen age to be troubled over friendship! HA. But let me just say, either you have no true friends, can't admit this fact, not a good friend material yourself, don't need friends, or so damn lucky that you and your bff or bmf are just meant to be!

Friendships problems always gets to me. After all these years, I've learn enough. If it can affect you so much, it only means that you had cared a lot and you had done a lot. You made sacrifices and done so much for the friend, but only to get nothing in the end. You expected the same from him/her, but you get none. Of course, expectations only lead to disappointments. Unless you are so selfless. To make all these even worst, like a double blow, is that your friend took all that for granted.

When you decided to not stood up for him/her once, finally, he/she blew his/her top. Then it hits you. Hard. That this 'friend' is just plain selfish. The friend don't see what you have done for him all these while, he only see what you didn't do for him this time round.

Imagine all these situations plus additional 'combos'. That this friend is not alone, he/she have a similar partner. Or how about all these have some blood relationship tangling somewhere. And even, they are all bff and bmf of each other. Plus, a protective one who always give grey answers. Last but not least, the whip cream on top of my caramel latte, their lack of communication among themselves created problems for other. Oh wait, the cocoa powder on top of my whip cream, they don't admit their lack of communication/show their true self to each other?

Please don't judge me. I'm not saying I'm selfless or how great a friend I am. I may be assuming too. I am a person who needs my friends. I want to be her bridesmaid when she gets hitched. But if things won't work out, it just won't.

FOTD for a work day

I am always quite embarrassed to post FOTD posts because mine look so boring and I don't think I'm good with all the eyeshadow blending and colors! But some small small handful of you did like it so here goes!

This was for a work day. I had to meet some clients after work for some drinks so I dressed up a bit and put more effort on my makeup. I usually don't put eyeshadow during workdays. This is a very wearable look. I love browns eyeshadow.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer followed by Jill Stuart Jelly Eye color in Vintage Decor all over lid. Darkest brown from MM Look On palette BR751 near eyelash.

I really think the buyer of Watsons (drugstore) is my long lost twin. He/she is bringing in all the brands that I love or have been wanting to try! All launching in a matter of days in between!

I remember mentioning somewhere that Herbacin is my favorite hand cream. And look! I used to ask the bf's aunt to buy them for me from Hong Kong. I bought my first Herbacin hand cream from Hong Kong when I visited last year.

Then there's Hada Labo by Rohto-Mentholatum! OMG. I've read all the raves of their Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion! It is their star product. A bottle is sold every 4 seconds in Japan! I can't wait to try it. I've just bought their face wash as I'm out of it. Although the dermatalogist told me I should skip toner in my skincare regime, I think this toner won't harm.

And then there's Aqualabel by Shiseido! Actually I don't know their products in details but since I always see them being introduced or recommended in Jap mags or Taiwan beauty programme, 女人我最大 (Nu Ren Wo Zui Da) or magazines like Queens, they should be good.

Aaaahhhhh. I'm a happy girl. Now all I have to do is to decide which or what to buy. Hee!

I used to love Mischa Barton. I haven't been following her news so often nowadays. Except that I know she did drugs and got so much bigger in size. But I think she's back to her healthy and gorgeous self now!

All the ingredients. I did my part too. I sliced 2 stalks of leeks! Before heading out to the gym and pool with my gf. I was already running late, but his mum was hinting that I should helped. So I did.

This has got to be my shortest post ever. This week was hectic. My room floors were getting retiled so I slept at my bff's place for a night before going over to the bf's for the weekends. Then I got home just now and had to repack everything back into my room. It took me 5 hours. So I cleared out some clothes and other stuffs. Which I'll show in my next post!

Back to work tomorrow. Argh. Super loooong day tomorrow. Dread.

The bf birthday

Sorry I haven't been active online! I am not getting any internet connection back at home hence I haven't been blogging! Anyone miss me yet? So I am blogging from the bf's place now. Last week was his birthday! But honestly I feel so bad for not doing anything special or going any where fun with him! I'm sorry xxxx! His birthday was on Sunday and he was working over that weekend too.

I cooked some Cha Soba for dinner.

He told me that it should be spread out to cook like that.

No. I didn't cook the tempura or made the sushi.

I tried the rice cooker cake recipe I saw from Yumeko the next day.

I added 4 teaspoons of green tea powder but we still can't taste the green tea in the cake.

Quite a success? Aside from the green tea flavoring.

Then we had Japanese food for dinner.

I finally get some internet connection! Work's been busy. Haven't been up to anything exciting so I'll leave you with some haul photos!

Went to the Billabong sale! Have I mentioned that I am going to Bali with the bf and friends this July? So more bikinis to add to my collection! They were like 70 - 80% off! How can I resist?

This actually doesn't fit quite well after I tried on it properly at home. There was a long queue at the fitting room so I briefly tried it on and thought after some tying and adjusting it should probably fit. The bottom doesn't hug my butt very well.

I love the little heart charm in the center! I think I will end up wearing the top only.

Brighter Sky

This week past in a flash. Last Thursday was the highlight of the week. It was a day that involved a lot of signatures. I signed an employment letter. Yes!! I found a job! Well.... the Zoo did not call me back. Anyway, this position doesn't require me to clock in at 9. Which I feel a little bitter sweet about. Not coming in at 9 naturally means not leaving by 6. But I do not have to squeeze with the morning office crowd and end up feeling like I ran 10km when I reach my office.

Then I signed more papers and documents. With the bf. Guess guess. Signing papers with the bf? What kind of documents do you sign with a bf? Yes!! We got our own place! Well.... in 5 years time that is. The flat is being build now and it will take 5-6 years before the building is done and ready to move in. This means so much to me and my bf.... having a place of our own. I'm sure I've mentioned before why so. For me. As for the bf.... I shall not say his story.
So if this blog is still here 5 years later, I will show you guys my home!

Life's pretty good now. The cup of water tastes sweet.

Does the title sound emo or wad? LOL.

So how well do you think you know yourself? Or sometimes you know yourself but you just hate to admit it. Since you won't admit it, it has to be a bad side of you. Yes. Don't deny. It is.
Like me. I hate to admit it, but I am a selfish person sometimes. I am so self-centered. Sometimes. Haha. Ok. But I KNOW I am selfish. Wtf. Can I not type that again.

Other times you really don't know yourself. This happens to me. And who is the one that knock some sense into you and remind you that 'why are we having this conversation/argument again?'
This person is the person that you unbashfully show your true self to. You got reminded of who you are or what you need at the expense of hurting that person. In that way, you are being selfish.

So today I learned that I am a girl who needs assurance about the future and must be constantly reminded that I am assured and safe and secure for the future. Not that the giver is not giving me assurance, but me, ever so often needs to be reminded.
It is like I have a heartshaped assurance screw screwed to my arm, but it gotten lose over every 3months. And it needs a heartshaped screwdriver to tighten it. (Whuu... another tatt inspiration! a set of heartshaped screw and screwdriver!)

So, am I making sense?
Tomorrow is a very important day. Busy day too. Looking forward.

Pink Leopard Nails + sketches

Just had my wisdom tooth surgery done yesterday (YES!! I've done it!!) so I am currently resting at home. Not meeting the bf today though it is his off day. So no OFTD or FOTD posts. Being a responsible blogger,(LOL. ) I will leave you with this post instead!

Do you like leopard print? I do!!! But I have no accessories, bags or clothes with leopard print. Why? Because the bf hates them. Hahaha. I won't wear leopard print clothing though because I am afraid I might end up looking trashy or just plain not nice. I did came across a leopard print chain handbag in a flea market with my bff before but she managed to convinced me not to get it. So right now, I own nothing with leopard print. I won't mind a leopard print mirror or camera casing or ....

ok. Onto the main topic. A little amateur nail tutorial.

After the base coat, apply Princess Rule! It is so so sparkly!! This is 2 coats. I love applying sparkly nail polish because unlike cream ones, you can't tell it if you didn't apply evenly.

Next, I used The Face Shop PK 108 to make random dots.

Then I applied Tha Face Shop Rd 303 around or close to the pink dots made earlier. Randomly done. I am using the brush directly. Because I got no nail art pen or whatsoever!

I am sure you can find other tutorials or videos for this and they will be so much more professional than mine!

My bff asked me to draw some sketches for her. So here they are. I can't remember the last time I drew! It felt therapeutic as usual. I like or can only draw in the afternoon where there is lots of natural light or sunshine.

edited: my bff said she thought the above 2 was traced....... ok. I shall take it as a compliment. Haha. Pencil shadings, outlined with black pen does give that effect. Those below are not outlined with black ink.

Life just isn't a bed of roses

Sorry this is a no-photo post! I am basically whining. So skip this post if you don't want to hear me whine!

Honestly, I think nobody understand or 'feel' this quote better than me. I have seen so many downs in life. Unbeatable track record.

Now that I haven't got a job, I am spending so much money on my health. The bf paid $190 for my previous trip to the dermatologist. And guess what's next?
My wisdom tooth. 2nd time.
It almost killed me the past few days. Thank god the swelling is subsiding now. So the surgery is scheduled on Monday. I am petrified. Needless to say the 1st time was hell. I was crying in the dental chair and squeezing the dentist hands. I remember they had to inject the anesthetic several times throughout the surgery.
Then my rashes seem to be coming back. I am thinking I am probably allergic to the painkillers. Aside from my rashes, my eyelids are getting a little red and swollen. I am getting all these little bumps on my face. They are hardly visible but I can feel it when I wash or touch my face.
Sigh.... big sigh... what is wrong with me??
The bf said I am a sick chicken.

I am going to watch Clash of the Titans later tonight! It is Good Friday tomorrow. Hope everyone have a great long weekend!!

Life is pretty boring these days for me. I have been sending resumes and watching dramas. Nothing productive! There is nothing else I could ask for except for an interview for a position in the industry that I longed to work in. But yesterday I went for an interview at the Zoo! It was quite exciting. I was hoping they would call me and they did! It is quite difficult to get shortlisted for an interview at the Zoo so it was totally unexpected. Well.... we'll see how it goes.

I don't even know if you guys like to see my face or a FOTD post. But since I have already taken these photos, i might as well do a post. I can always just delete it. HAHAHA.

It is not exactly a haul since I purchased them one at a time over the months.

I wouldn't have purchase the Canmake Powder cheek in PK20 if I had found the Cream Cheek in #03 Strawberry Whip first. I wanted a blush that screams PINK!!!
Then theres the Coffret D'or eyebrow mascara and I finally got my hands on an eyeshadow primer. No more smudgy eyeshadow on my left eye!

I went to the dermatologist again. Yes. I just went 3 days ago. But my skin is just getting worst. Now even my face is not sparing me. She is dry dry dry!!! I had to go back because I don't know if the Pityriasis Rosea is spreading to my face!! But thank god, it is not. My face is reacting to the Stieva A. It is meant to unclog my pores and although it is already mixed with aqueous cream, it is still too strong for my skin.
For my face

1. Cream cleanser 2. A oil based hydrating serum
3. An acne clear gel formulated with essential oils 4. Moisturiser
5. Another moisturiser to combat the Stieva A 6. Stieva A mixed
7. SOS cream. 8. Not in photo, a oil based mask.
For my body

1. Oatmeal bath oil
2. Oatmeal body moisturizer
3. Hydrocortisone Aceponate
4. Some ointment.

Never had I suffered from skin conditions since young (except for keratopillaris on my arm) especially on my face. My friends are always commenting on how clear my complexion was. So to suffer from eczema on my face now is frustrating. To make things worst is to suffer from PR together with eczema. Double blow. This will be a long process to recovery.
It's been 4 weeks since my 'herald patch' appeared, 4 more weeks to go. (PR lasts for about 6-8weeks. More info here.) I write this post to remind myself to be patient and to document my recovery process. I also want to tell other beauty bloggers who are suffering from skin conditions that "You are not alone!!".

Begin the day with love filled 面线 and 2 eggs. Chinese believe that eating a bowl of mian xian symbolizes longevity. And the eggs symbolizes good luck. I haven't eaten these after I turn 12. This time round, my por por cooked it for me! She is stopping by from Australia before going home to KL. My porpor is an excellent chef! I loved her cooking. I learned a few recipes from her already!

So simple yet so yummy.

I only took 3 sips of the coffee & chocolate cocktail. The liqueur was too strong. Blehhh. The bf said I wasted his $. HAHA.

Pityriasis Rosea.....What???

I thought I had eczema or so the dermatologist said. But it is actually Pityriasis Rosea. As it was spreading all over my body, I made another trip to the clinic and was seen by another dermatologist. She was so much more detailed! She touched the spots and asked if it itch and wrote down the term for it. After goggling for the images, I am sure she is right. I shall not post the pictures because it looks hideous and scary!!!
I've been reading about it and it seems that the best treatment for it is to go sun tanning. UV rays 'kill' the damn rashes. BUT but I can't go tanning in a bikini with all these red and brown spots in the public pool! Tanning beds are too costly. So I'm still fighting with myself if I should just go to the pool. OMG. I don't think I can do it.
It has been almost 2 weeks now, and the damn rashes are still spreading. Slowly now. Symptoms may be reduced if the body does not get overheated. Then why sun tann?!! I think I got this condition because the weather have been so so warm and humid, and I am at home all day. My home is like an oven. You can feel the intense heat immediately when you step out of the AC room or when you come back. How am I gonna recover!

Aside from that, I have another skin condition on my arms. It has been with me since....I can't even remember, but I only knew about the term now. Keratopillaris. This is less scary. Doesn't itch nor spread. Hence, I didn't went to treat it.

My birthday was 2 days ago. But I'm not really in the mood to blog about it. It wasn't very great either. I think I sound bitter. Depressing.

Dream Job

If only life goes accordingly to how you want it. Wouldn't it be great? AAaahhhh......
Ok. But life's not like that. But you can be easily contented and life wouldn't be that bad anymore. Then I remember a friend stated in description in her Facebook, "you need backbone to live the life you want." How true. Being contented... is it a good thing or a bad thing? I guess it's both. If you are easily contented your life's not going to improve, you won't want a raise, you won't want a promotion. But if you are not contented with life, you might be so hard on yourself and feeling miserable everyday.

Anyway, how many of us are actually doing what we want or love. Is your job just a job? Or it really is your passion? Now that my parents are on the road of recovery and my dad have given me the green light to work, I am thinking where should I send my resumes to. My dream jobs are as follow:

Stylist. How fun is it to be surrounded by things I love? Clothes, makeup, models?!!

PR of a fashion magazine or clothing/makeup brand. I'm sure this position is tough, but being in the fashion industry!!

Animal Abuse Prevention Officer. I did send in my resume when I saw the opening in SPCA but I did not have a driving license which was a requirement.

WWF Conservationist. I am always in awe when I watched Nat Geo Wild or Animal Planet. Conservation efforts are difficult. I have so much respect for these people and what they are doing.

Interior Decorator. Growing up, I loved to borrow interior furnishing books from library. Even up till now, I still do. Vintage Chic being my all time favorite.

Counselor/Social Worker. I just want to help children and teens who have similar experience like myself.

Stripe On & What are they?

Remember I wanted to get a striped long sleeves from Mango a while back? But didn't get it because the cutting didn't really fit. I found another one from Zara that fits so well! All these coordinates from ViVi makes me feel that it was such a good buy though I'm really cash stripped now.

I have yet to finish flipping the mag so it was only just now that I found these few pages!

I like this coordinate(main pic) so much! And wanted to put together something similar. But I feel that my light washed denim shorts was too short, my high waisted denim was too dark.

So I ended up with this.
Then I realize just now that the 1st pic had a coordinate like this. And I'm so proud of myself. I should be a stylist. LOL. Which makes me think of another post I could write on.

Today is the 7th day of the lunar new year, 人日 which is the common man's birthday. So, happy birthday! Haha.
This year my family didn't really celebrate cny. No new year goodies or reunion dinner. I was eating instant noodles on the eve of cny, which is the day where families have their reunion dinner. We didn't go visiting but some thoughtful relatives dropped by. My uncle and aunt visited from KL.

On the second day my uncle made Chicken Rice! Yes. Right from scratch.

and this soup! It is oh so savory! There are pork ribs, chicken stock (not the ready made ones) and abalone 'essence'! Essence as in the liquid in the canned abalone. I don't know what to call it. Haha.

It was such a hearty meal. I was feeling a little undigested after that. Haha. My uncle wasn't very pleased with it, he said it will be yummier if he cooks it at home.

I managed to pay a visit to the bf's family. And get some ang po!! I need them badly, with no income now. Hahaha
I didn't specially buy any new clothes for cny. Remember this dress from Topshop? Yes. I have not worn it yet since I bought it months ago. I just could not bear to wear it.

With the biker jacket I got for 50%!

I planned to match it with this! But it was OOS at Gmarket when my order was placed.

My dad have been very polite with me these few days. He have also become very emotional. He teared while watching tv dramas! My mum was so surprised. I'm positive it has got to do with my uncle's(his brother) visit. Nevertheless, I think its for the better. He changed a little. Just a little. But I'm thankful.

Yesterday morning I get to go out with the bf for a little while! So I finally get to go back for my follow up with the dermatologist. Had lunch and went shopping for a pair of shoes for the bf. Guess what he bought!! A pair of Dr Martens Air Waves!! Damn cool. I've been lemming for a pair of boots too and actually did placed an order for a pair in Gmarket. But it is always OOS!

That was the first part of the day. So second part of the day was well... dramatic. What else. Quarreled with 'the saint' in the family. Why is he 'the saint'? Because he will never be at fault. I wasn't the one that said it but of course I agree. My aunt had to come down to my place and knocked some sense into him. Of course she knew whatever she said will only fall on deaf ears. I stood outside the door and heard my aunt screaming at him saying that she had said the exact same things to him when me and my brother was little, and now again when he's half way to a hundred years old.

My aunt told him that she came over not for him but for her sister (my mother). She was crying and telling him off. I wondered if my dad even feels the least bit of embarrassment. Of course she didn't continue much when I came back. He needs his pride and I understand. But my aunt ended the chapter in a splendid way, she couldn't talk to him anyway more.

If I tell you guys how it all happened you will probably laugh. It is over a pear. So there we were in the living room, him just waking up from his nap wanting dinner. So the bf and me left the house and came back with dinner. We continue watching our dvd while my parents had their dinner. I walked to the kitchen and he demanded a pear. I said 'wait, in a while'. And guess wad? He shouted at me, 'Will you die if you cut me a pear now?' At this point of time, I was fuming. I walked out of the kitchen and to the sofa where the bf was. He shouted at me again and I lose it. And I mean big time. I can get very very mad. The pears went flying. It continued to get worst because you can't believe what he said. Him seating in a wheelchair and yet sprouting those nonsense. I could easily whacked him, like how he used to whacked me.

So I left the house and my aunt came shortly. And again I see how at 56, he has a mentality of a teenage. When my aunt reasoned with him, to think he can say 'OK. so I'm at fault and she isn't.' Worse of all, like a little kid twisting the facts and lying through his teeth, saying I threw the pear at him or how he told me nicely to cut the pear.

The bottom of this whole issue is he thinks everyone should give in to him and he is not wrong to want a pear immediately. I am not assuming because he said to my aunt 'I will never give in to her and she should be the one giving in to me.'

My mother is a very soft hearted woman. Giving in to him all these years even now. She may thinks that he is wrong but nevertheless still talked nicely to him. My aunt told me that he will never change, you can only 忍, endure. She tells me how being a daughter should be, how I must endure so the family will not shatter because since my brother is also not on good terms with him, how I should endure for my mother sake. Of course all these years, I had endured but sometimes like yesterday I lose it. I feel like I seriously do not deserve that attitude from him.

He told my aunt he can take care of himself and doesn't need me. That also shows how childish he is. When he said it, he of course meant it. With only one wheelchair at home now, they need to share. And when the wheelchair is in the bedroom and he is on the sofa, he got down the sofa and dragged his butt over the floor and to the bedroom. I don't feel the slightest pity. I cooked lunch and he chooses not to touch it and opened a canned food. Tell me, are these acts of a teenage or what?

Well... I got a new tattoo inspiration and I'm sure you all know what it is.

Haircut & color

Got a haircut! I was quite sick of the concave bob. So after it grew out I decided to change a hairstyle. Still a bob because its too short to change it to anything else.

But I got bangs! My face was icky, I'll leave u with some cute cartoons instead. Haha!

And color! The last time I colored my hair was 17 or 18? Haha. Sooo long ago! So I really didn't know what shade is suitable for me. I ended up with a warm reddish brown. The color doesn't show very well in the photo.

Oh... and I went to a new Japanese salon instead of my usual stylist. She was fully booked all the way til Chinese New Year. I think changing a stylist is a good idea. I was with my old stylist for 6 or 7 years and she sort of 'controls' the hairstyle for me, if you get what I mean.
And the new stylist that cut my hair is quite a cutie!
He was very patient and I like that he takes the extra mile to explain while cutting or blow drying my hair. His voice is very gentle may I add.

My skin at her worst

My followup with the dermatologist is in a few days time. These pics were taken a day before I went to the doc.
My skin was flaky as you can see from the pic.

The doc mainly said my skin was irritated and dry. So she gave me a hydrating serum, moisturiser, a capsule like oil mask and a SOS cream for itch and pimple. The SOS cream work like magic! It makes my pimple disappear the next morning!

It was itchy too!!
One of the brown dot is my mole, the rest I don't know what it is. Haha.

I think this pic shows the bumps clearer. According to the doc, the bumps are clogged pores. Until today, the bumps are still there but they are smaller and lesser.

Cooking Diary I & II

The one good thing at this period of time that I am not working and at home taking care of them is that I slowly learn to cook decent dishes. I am of wife material already! I also scrubbed the toilet and cleaned out the refrigerator. You cannot believe how 'unclean' the freezer is!! My dad cooks all the time but he is a very messy and unhygienic man. My mum didn't bother to clean it because he instructed her not to. And even if she did clean it up, it will just be messy again. I think the fridge have not been cleaned before. So I just want to say it was a lot of work, and I know I did a good job. HAHAHA.

These were yesterday's. Cod fish.

Yipeeee! I can catch a movie tonight! I want to watch Hachiko A Dogs Story. I need a box of tissue in the theater. Anyone watched it yet? It is a remake from a Japanese movie based on a true story.

I hate it and cannot accept a boyfriend who forget to meet me. I finally get a little break today because my brother is off and my uncle came over. But I got to be back by a certain time because my brother have to go for night classes. I really was looking forward to it because I was in a bad mood for the past 2 days thanks to my dad. More on that later. So by the time he came, it was only left with a few hours more. Anyway, I end up coming back home.

So my father had signed the papers for discharge despite the doctor's advise that he is not in a stable condition. He then instructed me to pick him up right away, when the time was already 5 odd in the evening. He seemed to had forgotten that his wife is at home. I know I sound bitter. But he really deserve it. Even the senior nurse said 'speaking to your dad makes me vomit blood'. That was 2 days ago when he signed the paper. I then told him I need to get my uncle to pick him up and my brother needs to be there so I said Thursday. This morning bright and early he called me and said he got an ambulance to send him back. I really really want to kill myself. My poor mother have to talked and coaxed and shouted at him before he get some sense into his head. Imagine my mother have been doing this for so many years. I have not seen her coax my dad like he is a little child before. I know I can never do this. I've come to get a even better understanding of my father's character. He is childish, immature and selfish. None of my mum's siblings can tolerate him, they visited him in the ward in accounts of my mother. My uncle told me today, 'I will still come up and help whenever I can after your father comes back, but I am only doing this for your mother.'

It has been more than 1 week since my mother got home, and I am starting to feel drained. I might really collapse when I need to handle 2 of them. And 1 being a very difficult man. I am only hoping now that he does not make the house a living hell when he gets back.

I seem to have drifted off topic. Sorry for all the reading and all my unfilial thoughts. I feel sorry for the boyfriend that he have to go through all these with me, but I am still very mad with him.

I manage to go out in between visits to the hospital.
So here are the photos! This will be a 'more-photos-less-talk' post.

I am currently using the white line because the sales person said it was for severely damaged hair. My hair is not colored nor permed, just very thick and coarse.
So probably it is not suitable.

I got the Neutrogena sunblock for when I am on the bf's bike in the afternoon when the sun rays are so strong. I haven't got a chance to used it yet cos my mum was discharged 3 days ago and I have to be at home with her.
Been wanting to buy my 2nd MM eyeshadow palette and it was on 20%! I haven't use it yet. And Canmake Cream Cheek!!
I was struggling with colour 03 (Strawberry Whip) and 04 (Vitamin Orange).
Then I thought I have quite a few pinks already and I've been wanting an orange or brown. It was highly recommended by Yumeko. I am loving it!
I shall not say much of the product because I believe everyone that own it feel the same for this super super blush!

Lastly, I got a friend to help me purchase this!

I can't believe I did not purchase anything from Jill Stuart when I went to HK. The bf paid 80% of the whole trip so it is only right I don't buy something expensive. Haha!

In 08 Crystal Sky. I like purple shadows! So I will get a higher end one for purple palette. But I am not good with my Dior Night Butterfly palette so I got this! I can't bear to use it yet. And it is scented! With a slight rose scent.

Remember I said I bought 3 jackets? These are 2 of them. The 3rd one is at the bf's place.
Biker jacket. I love it a lot because it is double breasted and its a swing jacket.

So OL-ish isn't it?
