Happy New Year!

I was really over the moon that I get to spend New Year Day in Narita. Well, not excatly, I was on the aircraft working really. I arrived in Narita on the 2nd day of 2012.

It was a very short stay, about a day and a half there. It was minimum rest and maximum fun! The only time I was in the hotel was to sleep. Just some photos of the goodies I brought back home.

I will make them last as long as possible. Maybe a sachet once every 2 weeks? LOL. And I just realized that I got the same Oreo latte as Jenny!
I can get them here in Singapore too but it is slightly cheaper over in Japan. My first copy of JILLE. It will not be my last. There are loads and loads of street snaps in there!
Of course a trip to Japan is not complete without a visit to Matsumoto Kiyoshi. This time round I was really disciplined and got only these.
Because the previous time in Sapporo, I got these. Opps.
My breakfast before I reported for work.
Just a very short post. I wish 2012 will be smooth sailing for me and I wish everyone else will have a rocking 2012!

Photo Diary - Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Amsterdam has got to be my favorite Europe city. It has a different vibe and pace. There is just something to it that I cannot put a finger on. Although I have been to several cities in Europe, but I am usually only there for a couple of days. Not enough to say I have seen all of the cities.

Here are some sights of Amsterdam.
Heineken Factory
One of the many many canals.
Bicycles are one of their common form of transport.
Just across the hotel, a quaint pancake cafe that only opens in Summer.
The inside
Cafes & bakery
Doing what the locals do
Starting the 9 streets walk.
The kitty was sleeping so soundly behind the window display.
I got these from the store. I must add they ain't cheap.
Pre-loved books
Amsterdam is one good place for vintage shopping.
I did not manage to slowly browse the store as I was with a friend and I did not want him to wait too long. Those quilts and blankets look like something I will buy.
Home decor!
I got some little stuffs for my future home.
I love this sparkling version! But I cannot seem to find it in other Europe cities.
Netherland people dress well.
Pretty cupcakes.

This is one big photo post!
