Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013.

Time flies. I cannot believe 2012 is ending tomorrow. Looking back to 2012, I am asking myself, what have I achieved, what have I learn, what mistakes have I made... ...

Living by my roster from month to month, just 12 rosters and it means the year it over. I am very thankful and blessed to have my current job. It is tiring nevertheless, all the different timezones I am zipping through in a matter of hours. The non stop demanding requests from unappreciative and rude passengers. The relationships with your superiors you have to manage. But I have survived through all that. I cannot believe that I have yet to quit flying. Although this option is always at the back of my head.

With a new year, I welcome all the challenges that I will face. I can't wait to meet all the new people and friends that I will meet. I can't wait to see how much I can grow.

On a lighter note, I have been ignoring my space here! All thanks to Instagram. I have included a hyperlink to my account on Instagram if any of you are interested. I hate to admit that Instagram is so much more convenient to update on the go!

Thank you for reading and I wish everyone a Happy New Year and may the new year bring more opportunities and pleasant surprises!

Recent Beauty Haul from Japan

Compared to the last time I hauled from Japan, this time I manage to control pretty well.

These Body Fantasies Body Spray have been all the rage for quite a while. Decided to get them since I do not have small fragrances for traveling.
More scent products! Hair Fragrances. Though they are so different in size, the Happy Bath Day from Kose cost more than the Baby Veil one. But I'm a sucker for products from the Happy Bath Day series.
See. Told you.
More bath salts for my achy and tired body.
The first one on the left is for woman's pelvis area and it contains ginseng.
Got a hair brush with Tsubaki Oil. Not sure how effective this is.
I have recently started using fake lashes for work. I got a case from Dolly wink to store them. Heard from a senior at work that this lash glue from Shiseido is really good. Hold the lashes well and it is a breeze to remove.
Yet another brown eyeshadow palette!

Seoul & Frisco Again

I have been shopping too much. Especially on this trip to Seoul and Sans Francisco. I ate too much too. Too much spicy Korean food in Seoul. So much that I am still recovering from tonsillitis, loss of voice and cough. No regrets though!
Partied too hard as well. Right after touch down from a 10+ hours flight, we had some Korean bbq with pork belly some Hite beer and we hit the club. Well... it was my birthday! And for the first time in my entire life, I shopped for 12hours straight. The malls in Dongdaemun closes at 0530! There are so many major malls there but we only managed to go to Migliore.

One of favorite piece so she deserve a solo shot. From UO.
My haul from Laneige. My colleague who bunked in with me in the hotel was using this Laneige foundation. The texture was light and sheer. I also wanted to try their makeup base. Skin Veil Base was the older one, the new release is Water Supreme Primer Base. They both come in 3 colors, Purple, Green and Skin tone. I got the purple one for radiant complexion (I'm a sucker for glowly skin.) and green to correct all the redness I have been getting around my cheek.
I don't know why I never stepped into Etude House in Singapore but I love to go to the Etude House in Seoul. I wonder if I can ever finish using all my lippies.
Also got the limited edition Mac Viva Glam Nicki. At the background, new blush from Benefit, Hervana. It is a purple-ish pink shade, like the box <3
Shall end this post with some sightseeing photos from Sans Francisco. I didn't just shop!

Happy New Year!

I was really over the moon that I get to spend New Year Day in Narita. Well, not excatly, I was on the aircraft working really. I arrived in Narita on the 2nd day of 2012.

It was a very short stay, about a day and a half there. It was minimum rest and maximum fun! The only time I was in the hotel was to sleep. Just some photos of the goodies I brought back home.

I will make them last as long as possible. Maybe a sachet once every 2 weeks? LOL. And I just realized that I got the same Oreo latte as Jenny!
I can get them here in Singapore too but it is slightly cheaper over in Japan. My first copy of JILLE. It will not be my last. There are loads and loads of street snaps in there!
Of course a trip to Japan is not complete without a visit to Matsumoto Kiyoshi. This time round I was really disciplined and got only these.
Because the previous time in Sapporo, I got these. Opps.
My breakfast before I reported for work.
Just a very short post. I wish 2012 will be smooth sailing for me and I wish everyone else will have a rocking 2012!
